On True Friends
I have a late friend who goes back to his hometown (Penang) every year to celebrate his father's birthday. His father always gave him a Chinese traditional "red packet" and an assignment for the year following. Once, my friend was asked to identify 3 persons whom he must be able to regard as real and genuine friends and introduce them to the father on the next occasion. So, he returned to KL and found the three whom he was closest to. However, by the time of his father's next birthday, sadly, he couldn't sincerely introduce any of them as stipulated. So, even if you have 1 true friend, consider yourself blessed. This is a true story.
