On Motivation and Inspiring People

Often in our work or life, it is very difficult to motivate and inspire the people we intend to if they don’t like, agree or get along with us. It’s due to the preset image they have of us. Most of us don’t realize that and are unable to understand why we don’t succeed. Our image precedes us and if we have no positive track record to show, our credibility is often questioned. The solution is not readily found in the problem. So, we need to “reformat”; to make ourselves “likeable”. This can only be done by caring for, sharing with and helping others without any negative agendas. Most of us tend to argue that it is others who are bad and will always take advantage and/or pick on our weaknesses and do us in. Not so. It is we, who are unconsciously doing that. If we can be aware of that and accept it, we should then make it a point to correct ourselves. We would be surprise how soon we can see the results.
